Dr. Summer Hartley is originally from the Flint area. After graduating from Flint Powers Catholic, she went on to receive her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Auburn University, a master’s degree in biomedical sciences from Larkin University in Miami and received her Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from Temple University in Philadelphia.

Summer is the daughter of Dr. Tim Vanitvelt, Dr Lori Thomas’s niece and Dr Spencer Wills was best man at her wedding. Joining Town Center Dental feels like coming home.

Summer is married to Adam Hartley also a longtime resident of the Flint area. She loves spending time with her family, her dogs Blueberry and Dr. Donut along with her cat Rammy. Dr. Hartley has spent the last few years treating patients in North Philadelphia and is eager to bring her knowledge, skills and creativity back to the area and Town Center Dental.
